Because no tenant wants to be riddled with leaking roofs and a clogged drainage system once they have moved in. Although the long list of things might seem like a lot of work to you and a lot of expenses, by doing them and giving your building on rent, your gain is going to be lot more. And you will be a happy man at the end of the day.
