A good career is what we all expect in life. But once we get a job, we might not enjoy it as much as we wanted it. Few get lucky by getting good jobs. Working in an air-conditioned room, with your own desk and computer, food on time and breaks when necessary is everyone’s expectations. Yet, this is not the condition always. There are few jobs which are considered extremely risky yet people are willing to work under such work pressure. There would be dead lines to be met or physical demands which would stress you out.
Builders, planners and constructors.
Having to plan on a house or a company and then building it according to the plan is not easy. This can be mentally as well as physically stressful. When the plan does not go accordingly, more time is wasted as well as more money is involved. This would put the builders in an uncomfortable position. Also working in construction sites could be extremely dangerous. The risk of a pole falling, a tile slipping or and electrical shock from an open electrical socket can be expected. Therefore, any person builder in a working site should have a construction safety management plan implemented.
This plan should not be just a regular one, but it must suit the place or the type of construction. For example, if the workers are involved in fixing the electricity supply for the site, there should be proper electrical site safety compliance. The workers therefore, should wear rubber gloves and slippers, should have necessary training before working on such things.
Travellers, photographers and journalists.
Pilots, journalists, travellers and photographers should work in various environmental conditions. This would mean physical stress as well as mental stress. Few common fears that all these people go through according to researches done are, risks of serious injuries or even death, mental stress as to the responsibility of their life and even another or thousands of other people, encounter of sudden hazards, need for the growth of their career, and competition. A journalist may have to risk his or her life and find for true information as any false information would make the other party sue him. A photographer might have to spend days and months in one location to capture a unique picture that would earn him recognition. Though these things would sound very simple, in real it requires immense patience and strength for one to cope up with such jobs risking their life. Therefore, all these people need to be appreciated for the hard work they do.
